Buildestroy offers direction and design for surface and motion projects with over fIfteen years experience. Our background is informed through the pioneering of street art and urban culture as well as our collaborations with action sports, music and fashion icons. We have unique visions that are always transforming yet remain signature. Our inspiration lies in capturing the organic and pushing the blend of human and machine, exploring motion as fine art. Advancing an aesthetic evolution and transmission of knowledge through image, sound and movement.

The statement of Buildestroy implies that in order to create a new way you must destroy the one in place, both building and deconstructing in one fluid motion. Constant change.

Buildestroy is guided by the creative direction of Cory Shaw and his crew of collaborators.

“Our true strength lies in our collective of artists, filmakers, writers and musicians and the collaborative process both within the crew and with our clients. We strongly believe that our best work comes from projects that we are truly feeling and inspired by and for people who are equally passionate about the project they bring to us. We do it for a wide range of clients in all mediums from stop motion animations to two story aerosol murals.”

We’ve enjoyed doing unique projects with: MTV2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Living Legends, HBO, SpikeTV, Gnarls Barkley, Jive Records, Island / Def Jam, Mix Master Mike, MGM, Ice-T, Sesame Street, Wu Tang, Discovery Channel, The Alchemist, and Warner Brothers.
