CHAINS - 2006

I Co-Directed, designed & also painted in a Documentary short covering the 2 day creation of an areosol mural by my GM5 crew. It was a 5 day timed film contest by AFI where you are assigned a theme and genre the night before you begin the shoot Our theme was freedom and the genre Historical.

The timelapse process was shot by 3 SLR cameras from 3 angles and than roving footage on HD cameras. We received the award for the Best Historical Documentary.

Since the creation the piece has been the backdrop for many skate videos, the MTV TV show "Scarred", and some music videos including Lord Ezec of DMS. It still stands behind Brooklyn Projects in the Melrose alley.
